Dayco long life warranty now available on High Tenacity range

Dayco – one of the largest manufacturers of original equipment power transmission components and supplying the world’s leading car manufacturers has announced its Long Life Warranty is now available on its High Tenacity range.

Team P R Reilly advises that Dayco approved garages can now register and issue a three year unlimited mileage warranty direct to their customers. The Dayco HT series is a patented product and the only approved direct replacement for Original Equipment on the relevant engines. The majority of all Diesel hi-tech modern engines require a HT belt and the Dayco HT unique belt is instantly recognisable by its white tooth drive area.

Dayco has developed the twin spiralled glass-fibre cord technology, which is wound into the core of these belts to give them their incredible tensional strength and the patented PTFE/cotton fabric coating on their teeth that reduces friction and wear and gives these High Tenacity (HT) belts as they are officially known, their instantly recognisable appearance.

Garages need to be aware of imitations and ensure they fit the unique Dayco HT timing belt kit – the only genuine like-for-like aftermarket replacement for a ‘white’ timing belt.
