Mercedes-Benz Actros wins Irish Truck of the Decade award

The Mercedes-Benz Actros I’V has won the  Irish Truck of the Decade award. It was chosen from ten contenders.

The fourth generation Actros was introduced in 2011 and it won the International Truck of the Year too.

It was also the first truck to comply with Euro 6 engine emission legislation while fuel economy also improved compared to the previous model.

The latest award citation noted that new Actros IV set a benchmark with its stylish aerodynamic cab, excellent ride and handling and driver comfort.  It is no surprise therefore that the Actros IV has won over so many conquest sales throughout Europe.
