Glasurit upgrades 68 Line

Satin matt and matt finishes have been used in the world of commercial vehicles for many years and Glasurit’s 568-403 matting agent has provided an effective solution for CV refinishers. With the introduction of 568-M 124 Matt Mixing Clear, Glasurit has enhanced the entire matting system with what can best be described as a variable gloss solution.

This fast and effective solution provides a virually unlimited range of topcoat finishes from the subtly reduced gloss levels of satins to flat matt finishes, which are a regular OEM and aftermarket feature on commercial vehicles, in particular chassis, trim parts, bolt on components and body contrast panels.

568-M 124 Matt Mixing Clear enables the painter, with the assistance of the same Glasurit Matt Clear System swatch used for passenger cars to accurately identify and match a wide variety of gloss levels from 15 – 80E (gloss units) viewed at 60 degress.

568-M 124 ensures fast and easy gloss level adjustment of 68 Line colours and can be used over all Glasurit CV primers and primer fillers. There is no need for any additional thinners and hardeners as the standard Glasurit CV products can be used therefore simplifying the system and helping to reduce stock levels.

In addition 568-M 124 demonstrates significantly improved flow and levelling and has a shelf life of 12 months.

Glasurit colour online and Profit Manager contains about 2,400 standard colours in matt format and all the colours originally matched using 568-403 have been updated to 568-M 124.
