Finol Oils hosts very successful Annual Golf Day

Finol Oils held its Annual Golf day, last Thursday, in the the beautiful settings of Carton House, Co, Kildare, which is getting ready to host the Irish Open this weekend.

With 24 teams of four playing on the day, the Finol staff were busy from early morning registering all the players and ensuring the golfers were all ready for the shotgun start at 10.30am.

With the weather on the day been so beautiful, it helped to make the entire event that bit more enjoyable. And all the attendees commented on the great effort put in by the Finol staff and management to ensure their every need was attended to.

Whilst the were a lot of prizes on the day, among the top winners wwere Anthony Nolan, an oil distributor in Abbeyleix and Shay Murphy of Kingswood Commercials, Clondalkin, who both had a very successful day to come out as the overall winners, with John O’Connell of Transpart, Cork and Sean Ryan of Fahy & Ryan car sales, Templemore following closely behind.

One of the most eagerly awaited result was on hole number 14 which had the Nearest to the Pin competition and this was also the charity hole, with the money from entering the competition going to the charity ‘To Russia With Love’. The winner of this competition, getting a beautiful garden furniture set was Noelie Maher from the Gleeson Group in Thurles.
