Imexpart Limited, one of the UK’s leading independent distributors of truck and bus parts, has chosen to deploy MAM’s hosted business management solution – Autopart Online.
Imexpart Limited is one of the UK’s leading independent parts distributors, serving the aftermarket since 1986. The company serves over 15,000 customers with original and replacement parts from depots in six locations across the country.
Autopart Online is a remotely hosted version of MAM Autopart, the UK’s market-leading management solution for automotive parts distributors and retailers. Instead of purchasing and maintaining expensive servers on-site, Autopart Online users connect to a state-of-the-art data centre by means of a robust, enterprise-grade network, thus eliminating costly hardware installations.
“We’ve always had a very good relationship with MAM Software, and Autopart has been our software of choice for 17 years” said Natalie Chappell, Personnel and Policy Director at Imexpart. “When the time came to replace our servers, Autopart Online seemed like a great alternative because we wouldn’t have to upgrade our hardware so regularly.
“The guys at MAM Software were great, all of our questions during the transition were answered and we experienced minimal disruption. They really went the extra mile to sort things out.”
By moving to Autopart Online, Imex has been able to eliminate the need to maintain costly server infrastructure at its Castleford head office. “Everything is now handled remotely by MAM Software” concluded Natalie. “Our Autopart system, anti-virus software and Microsoft server operating systems are supplied and maintained as part of our subscription. All our updates, patches and backups are handled by MAM Software – we can just focus on using the product.”
“We are delighted that Imexpart, one of our many long-time customers, is now enjoying the benefits of our cloud solutions” said Nigel Clemett, Director of Sales at MAM Software. “Autopart Online’s unique delivery method simplifies the user’s IT setup and significantly reduces upfront expense, resulting in tangible cost and time savings.”
