Haulage operators get engine oil advice

Haulage operators are being advised to use quality lubricants in their trucks, to ensure the long life and service of their vehicles. The advice comes Finol Oils, which has a large range of Total and  Elf lubricant products specially designed for use in commercial fleets, covering trucks, lorries, buses and agricultural machinery.

SONY DSCFinol Oils says that haulage operators should consider Total’s Rubia TIR 8900 FE 10W-30. This engine oil is one of Total’s fuel economy lubricants and offers fuel savings of up to 1 litre per 100 kms, with the maximum fuel economy savings being reached when used along with the fuel economy transmission and axle lubricants.

Rubia TIR 8900 FE 10W-30 engine oil is a new generation designed synthetic technology, low SAPS and  fuel economy heavy duty diesel engine oil. It is suitable for use in Euro 6, Euro 5, and Euro 4 Engines as well as been backward compatible. This means that for a company with a mixed fleet of new and old vehicles, this product offers you a solution to having to hold a number of different grades of engine oils, as this engine oil is suitable for use in most brands of engines.

It holds official OEM approvals from DAF, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Volvo, Renault trucks and Mack. This means these manufacturers approve this oil to be used in their engines,. The oil is also suitable for use in engines requiring Low SAPS & E6 oil such as Iveco and Hino.
